Miss Flora Fox likes Ballet and working on whittling projects. Recently she finished carving a salad bowl. She likes salads that have a lot of fruit in them. That's one reason she's such an excellent berry picker. She says the other reason is her very good eyesight.
She is made of orange organic cotton fleece with a brushed flannel texture, and stuffed with washable polyfill. Her nose and the tip of her tail are white, and her ears are lined with striped pink cotton. She is 15" from ear to toe. Her eyes and nose are hand-embroidered with cotton thread. If necessary, you can hand-wash Flora.
Hazel Village was started in 2010 by Jane Van Cleef. She always loved making things, and found inspiration for Hazel village in what she loved growing up. Annicke Mouse was the first Hazel Village doll, and after making a few more woodland friends, the world of Hazel Village became clear to her.
In the four years since Hazel Village started, they've expanded their ability to produce the animals responsibly, striving for heirloom quality at a reasonable price.
Hazel Village is named after the American Hazelnut tree: a source of delicious nuts, magical divining rods, useful twigs for basketry, and food for caterpillars.
